Welcome to the 2011 Autumn website for Drointon Nurseries - The Auricula Specialists!
We are a small Nursery growing only Primula Auricula and usually have a selection of plants from the 800+ cultivars in our collection available for sale. We only supply plants grown by ourselves from natural offsets (i.e. not via micropropagation), and they are sold as well established plants in 7cm pots.
We have now largely rebuilt our stocks after last winter's heavy losses. Whilst we are optimistic that the actions we have in hand will prevent another disaster only time will tell and so we are issuing an updated list this autumn just in case! We can offer a good range of cultivars for delivery this autumn including some we have not offered before.
All being well we will be updating the site again in the early spring at which stage we will be adding to our list with both old favourites and 'first timers'. We will also have an updated 2012 Catalogue available at this stage.
We were sorry to disappoint many of you by our absence from the normal shows this last spring but, fingers crossed, we plan to be back on the circuit in 2012. We will confirm the dates and venues on our Latest News page when they have been confirmed.
