The Selfs
All Show Self Auriculas have meal on their leaves, the amount of which varies between varieties from a light dusting to a dense coat. Around the flower centre is the dense circle of paste. The petal is a solid block of unshaded colour of a rich, velvet-like texture that cannot be represented in its true spendour via a photograph. At their best the perfection of Selfs is such that it is hard to believe that they are real!
