Many of the early Show auriculas were what we know today as ’Stripes’ with their markings of colour and / or meal radiating outwards from the central ring of paste. In recent years great advances have been made in the breeding of modern Stripes and many now exhibit much stronger marking and flower more consistently that some of the older cultivars that are still available.
It is worth noting that with many cultivars the flowers on the second stem are much better than on the initial stem. To see a larger picture of a plant, please click on the thumbnail photo. A description and option to order the plant will also be available. |
